I know very little about all of this Mars but it is very interesting to ponder. I guess the market in general has been worried about not just Netflix but also Amazon, Apple ( didn't know they had a service till I bought a new television lately), plus the likes of Paramount , Disney etc, going direct. That helped create the value in these shares.
Of course you have Elon Musk's starlink which could be another mode of delivery which in Oz can only operate in rural and remote areas at present!
For distribution on internet, I just don't know what capacity is in the internet infrastructure....I know locally our internet is crap because more people are streaming...does 5g overcome this with much more capacity?? Having streaming via satellite t.v. does free up capacity I believe...at present anyhow.
Will Elon Musk's starlink have an effect?? 5g moreso probably!...But in the end as you say, Sky has the customer relationship
