your argument is fallacious, as I could argue the inverse point & put up a list of stocks which are only rarely discussed, which have performed much worse than the HC darlings you mentioned above - so your list proves nothing - esp. when almost all ASX speculative mining stocks have been battered over the last 8 months. Besides, those who were astute enough to pick the bottoms & tops, & intelligently used stop losses (unlike me!) could have made a killing with PEN, SDL, etc over the last 2 years or so - and these stocks have the advantage of being highly liquid.
