To quote Buffet "short term the maket is a voting machine but long term its a weighing machine". NCP`s earnings really havn`t gone anywhere for the last five years but the stock price had a zoom climb to $26 or so and is now in a slow decline to ????????? And another point to consider why is NCP still "domiciled" in OZ when the bulk of its earnings are generated overseas?
The answer because if it was a US company then its earnings it reprts would be LESS so its current p/e would be even higher. My point is i don`t care what sort of spin the analysts put on NCP i think long term (Greater than 12 months) NCP is headed to $6 or lower. Having said all that it`s one of the best trading stocks if you can pick it but i certainly wouldn`t hold it as a long term investment.
