One problem with script for script offers is that the direction of CEN's price will follow the direction of RUM's.

The latter has not been so good lately.

I remember looking at investing in either RUM or CEN short term a little while back. During my research I remember seeing a pres by RUM where he actually said "our price hasn't been doing so well ever since we made a takeover offer for CEN" - or something along those lines.

Wonder what direction RUM's price will head now. You would think that the deal would be seen as good idea by both groups (with a fair price only to be determined). Here, i think people are still trying to determine whether the acquisition of CEN is a good idea; the price debate runs second to that fact me thinks. That last comment applies to both holders of CEN and RUM.

BTW: I think a merger is both necessary and a good idea for both companies. But I'm going to wait and see what the crowd does first before putting down my hard earned.
