I thought you gus might like to read an email conversation sent to me by John Merity.....yes, I have permission to use it.

I just thought I’d write to you and let you know about the high volume yesterday. I have been contacted by some shareholders who have suggested NWR has a leaking problem.

The heavy volume yesterday resulted from a pre-arranged sale of stock from Findlay & Co in Sydney to a New York based fund – Aeneas Capital - we have been trying to interest in the company. The sale was 3 million shares at 29c (it was negotiated directly between the parties – I simply put them in touch with each other). The corporate compliance departments at both stock broking firms involved directed that the trade be done in the way it was – that is a number of individual trades rather than one block trade. I was as surprised as anyone that that was the way it was done. I had expected one block trade. I can absolutely assure you neither of the parties was aware of the announcement today.

I have invited concerned shareholders to contact the brokers involved or the ASX if they have further concerns.

It goes without saying that the directors of Northwest take our disclosure obligations very seriously. We are proud of the company we are building and believe we are right to track to emerge as a high-grade and very low cost gold producer.

Thanks John, much appreciated, leaks are synonomous with this game, some drillers with a bit of experience can tell what's there and slip a tip or two, especialy visible gold, and like CDU some unscroupulous characters can dip into your sample bags, on that ocasion Ithink they were posing as reporters.

Is it ok to post some of this email on a trading site, or will there be an announcement shortly?.....I'd hate to get caught out and piss you off.

Also, thanks for that last presentation, it was truely awesome and informative....especialy the 3D mapping of the intended program, hopefuly more 3D mapping will be available at the other prospective sites, are they still being drilled (ie Blue spec east, ect), or are you just concentrating on Blue Spec at the moment?

As we used to say on site...Go hard or go home......

Thanks for the compliments on the presentation. We work hard to make them informative yet accessible.

Blue Spec remains the immediate focus in order to get the resource upgrade out ASAP.
