Assumes knowledge of future Chinese strategy. Assumes knowledge of advanced US military planning. Assumes knowledge of ship design.
The last sentence should put paid to the knowledge of ships. Do we really think an author like this would have access to what 'we' have on the drawing board? Do we really think this person has a clear study of Chinese history AND knows their current thinking on expansionist or otherwise policy?
Personally, although I thank the yanks for being in the way and bumping into the Japanese for the battle of the Coral sea - but really -------- can the world be a worse off place for China being a world power and America not?
I doubt it.
I think we just might survive without KFC and Friends and Maccas - and we certainly can survive without a nation like the US having a world currency - remember, they actually voted for Bush ---------------- TWICE.
America has given us some wonderful things and individually there are some lovely people - but on balance ? It is no secret why they are so hated in many parts of the world.
