And as far as radiation levels are concerned, this is what The Bard has to say about that.

The level of radiation left by the Lynas Rare Earths Leachate Purification Process is very low. The process is designed to remove as much thorium as possible from the ore, and the remaining thorium is then stored in a safe and secure location.

According to a study by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA), the average radiation dose from the Lynas Rare Earths plant is less than 0.1 microsieverts per year. This is well below the safe limit of 1 millisievert per year.

The Lynas Rare Earths plant is also subject to strict environmental monitoring. The ARPANSA monitors the radiation levels in the environment around the plant on a regular basis and has found no evidence of any harmful radiation exposure.

Overall, the Lynas Rare Earths Leachate Purification Process is a very safe and effective way to remove thorium from sodimite ore. The level of radiation left by the process is very low and well below the safe limit.
