Indeed Pennie, once/if confirmed it'll be a huge needle mover (IMO).
I wonder if there are two separate processes we have been working on:
1. Treatment of the current by-product (WLP). This has the potential to reduce the footprint of storage by ~95%, or perhaps even extraction/separation of Th for nuclear applications (aka the Nature (SR) paper).
2. Removal of Th from ore/concentrate.
The first technique is published research (likely) using WLP from LAMP, so it would appear to be 'real' and scalable. The second process I more of a guess. But, I can say now with relative confidence, something is brewing and I believe there will be an ann soon. It would also tie in with the recent chatter about Malaysian REE industry.. I very much doubt Malaysia would spent $1b to build a new plant when they could get friendly with LAMP instead (in which case an expansion is more likely than a shutdown).
