I share your thoughts EddieB. My thinking is that current wlp pile would perhaps still end up in the PDF we are building (from latest images it looks like it's ~70% complete). In regards to lower amount of 'purified' Th and uses/destiny of it, I really don't know.. But if the rumour is correct then I suppose there is a plan..
I also wonder, from a face-saving perspective, which is better..? Lose in a judicial process, or, agree to a 'new local technology'. I just believe there is a push (politically) to save our C&L, in part out of self interest (local REE refining - I don't see Malaysia building a facility for $1-2billion when they have a great place to go to already - LAMP).
There may be nothing to it, but reading between the lines and taking note of recent 'breadcrumbs', I believe there is.
