    It might be time to add Lihir Gold to your watch list.
    The stock continued to climb yesterday, up 7c to a 10 week high of $1.17. The Papua New Guinea miner migtht have just benefited from a strong pricefor the yellow metal but word is a $ 1.40 takeover offer is on the table from an offshore buyer. Nerly 70 per cent of the shares were traded through Credit Suisse First Boston.
