First of all, I would not care about any commercial news in the next announcement. March and April are meant for commercial news. What NXR/WBT should tell us now is the successful completion of testing on mobile prototypes and any performance enhancements over IRIS. This would prove to the whole world about total readiness of their invention for commercialisation. There are other reasons as well.

Though this is an old article, reckon a million dollar gem hidden in this article (This was jointly spotted by some of my buddies in the related technology space and now going around among mates in the trading world).

    Here you go,

    http://www.iosdoc.com/samsung-galaxy-s5-to-feature-eye-scan-technology/

"We couldn’t obtain more details about the technology Samsung is going to use for the eye scanner, but our first guess is that they might be trying to scan the user’s unique cornea pattern, with a high-res camera positioned on the front of the device. If you remember, there used to be a system able to unlock a device by facial reading, but the system could be fooled easily by placing a photo of the owner in front of the camera. Meaning the cornea reader is a far better choice."

    What this could be -

    1. As far as our knowledge of biometric space goes, there is only one patented Corneal mapping (successfully production tested) in the world. None other than Stephen Mason & WBT. A very positive article published in the US edition of Financial Times.

So is iosdoc.com confidentially referring to WBT's technology in its article ? which could mean something already started way back between Samsung and WBT.

    2. Samsung dropped off the $650 million deal to acquire Fingerprint Cards abruptly amidst huge controversies..no reasons stated then.

    3. WBT released phase 1 results in August 2014.

Successful completion of the Phase 1 program is a major achievement for WBT as:
    - It confirms the potential for WBT’s unique biometric technology to offer a security solution in the mobile banking sector.
    - It establishes the foundations for WBT to commence discussions with potential users of the technology (such as device manufacturers).

So even if WBT had provided a trial license (only lab usage)  to Samsung/other providers after phase 1, nothing could be disclosed until the provider is ready to market.

    4. Some kind of eye scanner an IRIS based was expected on galaxy 5 handset, but this was again dropped. Samsung has been very quiet on biometric authentication since then.

    5. My guess is a lot of things on the lines of commercialisation might be happening already behind the locked doors.
Asian investors queueing up? come on.

An exclusive licence deal with the mobile provider means a lot. This would normally be a multi-billion dollar deal.
Otherwise WBT could sell this to the world based on individual licences. Regardless, WBT can always sell the static mode licences separately to military/airports/universities/hospitals, etc

Exciting times ahead - SP might see high teens soon - On radar - more deep pockets jumping in.
Don't give a damn about selling a single share now.

    ALL IMO. Good luck holders.
