When the bull turns into a bear you first have corporate shenanagins, followed by high market volitility,then a crash which precurses an almost collapse of the banking sector as the start to reel in losses. It happenened around and after 1987 with the bear holding on to its grip for two years.
Same patterns are ermerging now in the US
1 Dodgey accounting pratices etc etc etc
2 High matket volitilty
3 Market meltdown?????
4 Banking collapse.
