Just off the top of my head 1 BHP are stil 1/6 Owners of North West Shelf Gas Project and have been since 1982 2 BHP were in volved in kick starting Queensland Coal Seam Gas operations 30% ownership in CH4(later Arrow)2004 3 BHP were major partners in failed proposal(Arnies Envirionmentalist stopped cthat) for LNG plant offshore California. 4 BHP were 50% owners of Bayu Undan project north of Darwin. Sold out to Shell/ Phillips. 5 BHP were partners with BP in development of GASProm project in Soviet Union 1997. I know most is ancient history, just like me, but a quick check on thier website will probably reassure you they have a large interest in the LNG industry.
