39 to 47 is just a realisation of the inherent undervaluation finally being corrected via (1) a technical break above previous highs (multiples of them around 40-41 over recent years), (2) start of short covering from the largest short position on the co I think ever ?, (3) possibly the start of the large caps trying to find their way to a holding that they can launch with.
Add in traders and you have a perfect storm.
