I have heard on VERY good sources that there is to be a large acquisition in the Australian agribusiness in the near future.
Can any of you shed any light on a business (it may be a standalone listed business or may be B2B sale of a part of a larger listed company) that fulfils the at least four of the following criteria:
1. Likely sale price of bw $250m and $850m 2. EITHER strong presence/footprint in Tassie and/or NT OR it is a logistics related business with good access to port facilities. 3. In the event of the business being listed, an open share register. 4. Not involved in timber plantations or viticulture. 5. Strong brand identified with by farmers.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
