rumours about....

There are some rumours about VPE buying a stake in ITC on the ITC board. Would make sense from a VPE perspective to get full control of those promising oil fields, of course. Just wonder how much VPE will have to offer ITC in case this should go further, i.e. if those rumours will prove to be true - which they might well be. I would imagine a script offer combined with some cash.
Any comments?
