The talk of TO is academic, and the mulling over a possible price even more so. But I will contribute my penny's worth anyway. Shareholders who jumped in this year expecting the SP to race away so they could lock in a quick profit might be eager for a takeover so they can exit. But I suspect they're a small minority. Most shareholders are longtermers who have bought the lithium and GXY stories and would not welcome a takeover offer at this early stage, when so many promising devts are about to occur. I can't imagine the board recommending a low-ball offer when they are substantial shareholders themselves and a SP of $10+ could be feasible in a few years.
