i only have a small amount of nickel in my portfolio. i am keenly interested in them as the resources are finite and the demand is big. Simple in my opinion. my main one is ALB, but SMY is there too. I have a tiny amount of MRE for the yield and some Mirabela MBN. So a decent spread for long term. Nickel only makes up about 1/8 of my portfolio. Uranium and zinc the rest.
