if they did shoot it down with those ragheads on board well so be it - but the fact that possibly the pilots were dead, no one on board could fly it - the passangers with a fight with the ragheads - no one or pilot slumped at controls you know it is highly plausible the plane just slammed into the ground.
That said bush took his eye off the ball in afganistan to pursue iraq - he could have captured bin laden if he had have put 150000 troops into afganistan instead of iraq - 12000 hardly cut it the high tech war of course destroyed the taliban but bin laden is still running around and its been pakistan thta has capture the vast majority of the top leaderhsip of both al quadea and taliban with less sophisicated technology and more human intelligence.
