Lynas has entered into a contract with the US DOD to build two processing plants, a light and a heavy and they're getting paid good money for them. A deal is a deal, there's no room to say yes and then not follow through, it's a contract. Kalgoorlie is running a bit over time and that's considered normal in the industry. Lynas has a great track record on delivering what they've promised. I can see no evidence to suggest that they are not absolutely going for it, however it looks on the surface.

MP Materials talk a lot but are yet to deliver on what they promised, which was a processing plant that actually produces separated rare earth oxides for magnet makers for starters. They have great plans but it is a matter of when will they actually deliver, so far it's crickets. I hope and expect that they will fulfill their plans eventually, the world is going to need more than will be supplied. As far as leading the charge, it's Lynas for actual runs on the board.
