Cutting expenses for what, to sit around and wait for someone to take us out? There are no less “snouts in the trough” now, just different snouts, but there is a lot less experience at the helm. Could Nero not have wielded its influence to simply reject some of the outsized reward structures that had been put in place instead? By all means hold management accountable for company performance, I’m all for that, but Nero has thrown the baby out with the bath water..
