Looking worrying for grains this year in Oz. Not pretty over east my broker tells me. The West here has subsoil but we can't get a decent rain to plumb us into it. We'd normally be finished by now. Most would be lucky to be half finished and many have not even made a start. Bit of a worry. I've taken out calls on feed barley and wheat to make sure we have cashflow in the event of a drought. Even if there isn't a domestic drought the international market could drive these calls into the money anyway. Cheers
