Just a point re tonnage. Obtaining reasonably accurate figures through weight checks can be very difficult. Figures are easily skewed in a significant way. The only real figures i'd pay attention to are harvest figures. If fish are part of the same cohort it may be possible to extrapolate with reasonable accurately expected tonnages for that cohort.

Also how would you know that there have not been any fish escapes, disease events, predation or just general incompetence in data collection. IMO take the figures with a grain of salt. Expect the worst hope for the best.
