One of our posters last week made the (valid) point that a significant amount of the investment in LOM leading up until today would be people/companies exercising their options in order to qualify for the loyalty options.
That was true in my case and I'm sure many others.
Today is the last day that can be done and tomorrow is the last day that any purchase of LOM shares qualifies the buyer for loyalty options.
I, for one,am intrigued by these unusual set of circumstances (given the options are strongly in the money). It's anyone's guess what the SP will do on Wednesday. What will be also be really interesting is the rate of conversion of the loyalty options, given the time-frame for doing so ends on 29/08/2015.
In all probability, I'll be doing so earlier rather than later - the cash-flow from doing so will put LOM in a stronger position in the critical, upcoming 12 months.
