Many moons ago, the Fools had a sell recommendation on Bow Energy at 25c (I was a holder). Bow was bought out 6 months later for $1 based on 3P gas reserves only, no production (buy out of $1B). The problem with the Fools, if I can use an analogy, is that they value real estate only if it's a land & house combo, otherwise they consider land alone as having little value, hence the flaw in their assessment. AVZ's resource has significant monetary value even without production but the Fools have never bothered to estimate a value of the resource. In fact, they have never mentioned the potential resource in their coverage of AVZ, so how on earth would they know if a market cap of $500M is too much? Perhaps 8Horse should offer up his tremendous spreadsheet analysis with NPV estimates based on various scenarios as they would learn plenty! 8Horse - make sure you charge then a bundle for your financial analysis of AVZ because the Fools need as much market intelligence as they can get!
