exactly, battery market is detachted from "normal" market which is logical in disruptiv shifts. Traditional car industry is late but has enormous financial possibilities to secure a EV future.
That BMW puts the procurement partnership with Daimler on ice is imo a sign, that full confrontation in market seems to be nessecary from now on. Quality of engine is no argument any more. Other USP's need to be developed, why customer should buy a premium car. China will control via AVZ for longer time the batter market, but it is doubtable that chineses car brands will be succesfull against premium ICE dinosaur brands going EV. AVZ only solution given the volume of upcoming market demand.
