Just sharing a nuance in thought that doesn’t occur to most when they are heavily vested.
As a former AVZer (and possibly future AVZer) I have no reservations about investing in the company or jurisdiction.
But just trying to share a more sober thought that has occurred to me which is that:
(1) When it comes to minerals, one project doesnt truly impact the ‘market’ all that much if participants from only one country are interested in it ie. China; and
(2) When it comes to having an impact on price, a large project cannot truly make a dent unless the minerals are to be sold on the market (eg. spot price lithium) rather than via private offtake agreements where the price is not disclosed.
None of this matters or has an impact on AVZ as the company and the resource is still grossly undervalued and ML and the team are whipping up more than enough competitive tension between Chinese companies.
But still an interesting thought that might add some sobriety.
