"So, anyone concerned about delays should note it's a scale/resourcing issue and nothing more. "

It could be nothing more (scale and logistics/transport issues certainly make sense - but so to does inexperienced management failing to check contractors have resources ready resulting in estimation errors) if there were simply better management-to-shareholder communications.

So long as management keeps expecting or asking for blind trust out of proportion to the cost of showing us (with pictures, that are cheap to produce and to supply) what is happening people will quite naturally speculate that they may not be being told the whole or the true story when delays occur.

To a very large extent the Manono/Kitolo resource is a first of its kind in that it is deep in the DRC where roads don't reach as well as being in all probability of such strategic size that once JORCed its mere potential to be developed at some time (perhaps even 5 or 10 years down the track) could affect the rest of the supply side of the markets capacity to set prices.

Klaus and co may be great finders of resources, they may have that skill down, but that doesn't make them automatically great developers of resources. I would not expect BHP or RIO to send photos of drill rigs and cores being stockpiled awaiting transport if they were mining in Western Australia because they have done this before. Trust is earned, it has context, you don't get it for nothing.
