Couldn't agree more
I think Chinese companies are so keen to Australian lithium companies, for two reasons:
1. Chine Central and local governments push elctric vehicle industry, for environment and crude oil reasons;
2. China is not short of lithium resources but China's deposits are mainly Brine, in Qinghai, the deposit is also having issue to be extracted for battery use, apart from common constrait of hard lifting annual production capacity for brine deposit. Good Hard rock deposits are over 3,500m above the sea level in SouthWest China, too hard to mine.
Lithium would be at much worse position than iron ore for China.
