u dont wanna get hit on say a news opening where they all get wiped on opening auction. Putting them on creates a "feeling" that someone wants to sell. So say if ure undecided to buy or no and u see ppl putting sell order u think lets wait for it to go cheaper. Or if u wanna sell and u see big orders behind u, u wanna jump que and dump, in which they will scoop it up. Imo obviously.
