Anush ,You have a good plan with the SMSF, i did the same and decided to buy an investment property also as part of my retirement plan which i am still many years away. I found the banks at the start of my SMSF to be a waste of time and effort and i agree on the scare tactics. no one will invest or look after your own money more than yourself. I would say,
if you are serious about your Super don't trust any of the institution or fund mangers. I found reading all the info on
this forum has really helped me a great deal. Super Ninja was great with PLS and i am spewing he is not on anymore.
Anyway I keep posting. love to read.
