AVZ (ASX) Running Commentary on the SP Movements.

Who cares, it makes no difference. The sum total of AVZ shareholders don't all exist on HC forums. Anyone who has been paying any attention at all knows the facts, which are basically:

1. Lithium is accelerating in both demand and price because supply cannot meet demand.
2. AVZ has discovered (probably) the worlds largest lithium deposit that dwarfs its competitors, and also that the deposit is high grade.
3. AVZ could be but isn't likely to actually mine the lithium it has found, so it's employed Airguide to find a suitor.
4. The "downside" is it's in the DRC with its distance to port/political issues, but this is not really an issue for Chinese companies who are the main target for a takeover because they are well entrenched in DRC mining. Some people apparently don't understand the business model going on here, but there it is.
5. A director did some profit taking around the 15c mark which caused a storm and a flurry and arguably resulted in price action that has left us in the 12-13c window we are in now.
6. The rumour is that accumulation is occurring apace with one or more companies positioning themselves for a takeover offer. There is all sorts of price "manipulation" occurring on a daily basis with moderately high frequency, small volume trades.

So there you have it. Up ramp, down-ramp all you want, nothing changes the facts and anyone putting in or taking out serious money into AVZ is making careful assessments on the risk benefit of each action based on where they see the mine going. Currently there is a bit of a pull-back of many/all lithium stocks, for whatever reason. No one elsewhere is batting an eyelid, and nor should anyone here. Buy, hold, and wait for the reward. Or sell, and find somewhere else to take a punt. Your choice.

Incidentally on technicals MA20/MA50 have converged, next few days will determine the longer term price direction.

Completely agree my brother. And many in the UK and the rest of Europe shareholders, agree with your post, are holding and supporting ML and the Board of Directors to our eventual conclusion. Massive money involved here, nothing to worry about. Well done brother, just can't be bothered anymore commenting on this thread overall. Sit and prop and collect.
