Essentially I am saying it will be two pits - each producing 5 million tonnes of feed ore - whether they can get economies of scale through configuring infrastructure is another issue so that one set of infrastructure accommodates both pits, but given distance I personally think there will be a doubling up in some infrastructure just because of scale here. For example, I suspect each pit will have its own crusher and screening facilities and ore feed facilities - ie it would be ground breaking if the ore feed facilities is just one facility of 10 million tonnes per annum (one unit) so I suspect it will be two units of 5 million tonnes per annum so can accommodate one each at each pit (and 5 mtpa would be stretching existing technology in that area as well btw IMO, and to understand that look at teh scale of the facilities for PLS and Greenbushes - note Greenbushes has several facilities, not one).

Where I think there will be one common facility is if they decide to produce lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate provided they deal with the power issues - after producing the 6% spodumene they could put it through the one facility IMO (and obviously producing hydroxide or carbonate will sve transport costs). Anyway, whoever takes out AVZ will have a development profile in mind using economies of scale principles and I guess the makep in teh consortium will determine how much they might stretch the technology development scenarios available.

If you look at BHPB or Rio developments in the Pilbara for example, some operations have stand alone infrastructure and some share infrastructure - given distance between pits. I supect the same will happen here.

All IMO and obviously I am speculating.
