David Robinson CFA
Chief Executive Officer
David has over 25-years experience in financial markets and the corporate sector having held senior positions in both Australia and the United Kingdom. He was a Senior Vice President and the Global Sector Head for Energy & Natural Resources at NYSE listed AllianceBernstein LLP where he managed multi-billion-dollar equity portfolios for institutional and mutual fund clients investing primarily in global energy and resource companies.
He was a founding Director and Chief Financial Officer of Lekoil Limited (a London listed Oil & Gas exploration and production company) having taken the company from private to publicly listed, leading multiple capital raisings for the company, raising in excess of US$250 million.
Michael Langford
Executive Director
Michael has over 16-years experience in financial markets and the corporate sector having previously managed the investment funds for a Chinese Billionaire and has been extensively involved in creating and managing companies in the natural resources space on a global basis.
Michael was the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Cube Gas - a successful International Oil and Gas Company operating in Asia and Australia. He was also previously the Chief Investment Officer for a number of high net wealth family funds and played leading senior roles for Private Equity groups responsible for several multi-million dollar international M&A transactions.
Thomas Cheung
Executive Director
Thomas is a former director of AIMS Financial Group and Deputy General Manager at the Sydney Stock Exchange for the greater China region. He successfully built an IPO-origination and fund raising team for Sydney Stock Exchange within China and Hong Kong’s financial institutions sphere. Thomas was head of Asia at Bullion Capital - Australian Bullion Exchange(ABX) covering Shanghai Gold Exchange, CGSE Hong Kong and numbers of Chinese commodity and precious metals exchanges.
Thomas maintains an extensive working network with Chinese listed companies in the resources sector and has in-depth connections with asset managers, family offices and buy-side funds specialising in commodities and resources.
Richard Tan LLB (Hons)
Executive Director
Richard is admitted to practice in both the Singapore and Australia and has more than a decade of experience in corporate, commercial and equity matters in Singapore and Australia. He has advised and represented both listed and private companies as well as financial institutions in a wide range of commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, other fund raising exercises. He is active in the corporate advisory and compliance space and routinely assists both listed and private companies with regard to these matters.
Ruhan Lee LLB (Hons)
Legal Counsel
Ruhan manages the legal and contractual aspects of our operations and is responsible for devising and drafting all types of contracts required by our business. Prior to joining Airguide, he has trained at a law firm focused on cross border matters and has experience with a wide range of commercial transactions such as merger and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and other general corporate matters. Ruhan graduated with a LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
