Tweets, ramping, and forum banter can only inspire so much confidence, after which comes the second guessing, and then further analysis. So here's my current takeaway ... Buffet looks at a company's assets and if their open contracts, cash and assets are above their market cap, then they are a buy in his mind. The greater the assets are above the market cap the greater the buy. So much so that he'd often just buy the whole company to realise the full reward. Market sentiment, bubbles and volatile share price movements are all just background noise. So, AVZ current market cap is $472 mill. Is the lithium/ tin asset worth more than that? ... being conservative, there are a few factors to reduce the estimate of value, such as no actual mining expected for a few years, its in a slightly politically unstable country, the true value of the resource is just an indication at this stage, and the price of lithium is dynamic, ... but dang this thing has got to be worth a whole lot more that $472 million right?! We know it is, so the current share price is justified, and anything less is a bargain and an opportunity for Buffet style accumulation
