Because it's almost 20years old and if you don't know any successful day traders you don't know many people. Of course a lot has changed, there's alot more resources and information for investors, they are taking classes and workshops, getting taught by experienced traders ect. Everything improves as time goes by. There use to be a time when you couldn't just buy and sell shares on your phone or laptop like we're doing now. Definetly would get taxed alot more as a day trader but so do LTs when taking profits along the way. I just don't see how those figures would be the same when you see so many traders on the market now
