Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. (Huayou Cobalt) latest quarterly there is no mention of the RuiYou / RuiHua JV structure. So what’s logical to assume here is that they are controlled by the CATL entity part of the JV, wanting to release from the Joint Venture it appears because there’s not a working JV with Huayou Cobalt.
Both Huayou and CATL document these 2 entities but you can’t see where they are JV-ed.
La Congolaise d’Exploitation Miniere SA (Cominiere) says it’s confidential. I wonder if Tantalex have to show who they are in agreement with?
In any case Tantalex is appearing as another proxy for RuiHua on tailings. It’s possible this is a manoeuvre to haggle with other groups “that we’ve got this sewn up”.
