I just hope the company announces soon the appointment of a new chairman with extensive mining experience who can drive this company to where it deserves to be, this will send a very clear message to the ASX what this company stands for and where it is heading as well as firm up the SP. I have no interest at all in a take over, why?, because under the right Chairman/ management team AVZ could go all the way and this is the only way the BOD can deliver maximum shareholder value to the real investors looking longer term.

Whilst current uncertainty leaves some to doubt the future value of AVZ I strongly believe that we are in a much stronger position than people may think and with just one announcement sentiment can change at the drop of a hat.

The next AVZ announcement I feel will be a turning point so I just hope Nigel and ML can step up to the plate and deliver because a 20-30c takeover is not how this story should end!
