Actually an informative post. A few point though....
* 1000kt for 30% EV penetration was really on the low side in my estimate. Goldman Sachs estimated 60kt LCE for every 1% EV penetration for example. 30% X 60kt = 1800kt.
* This is just cars. Trucks, buses, home storage etc is not included and it should be significant.
* More so than not, project rarely manage to stick to their timelines.
Having said that, its a feedback loop for EV growth. EV growth needs lithium, shortages = EV delays. So yes, the world will push hard to keep up and actually needs to keep up. I just don't see the price collapse especially when folks like SQM are telling us that there will be no price collapse at a mere 10% EV penetration by 2025.
