i'm interested in what you say because my first instinct is that the "capping" theory is thrown out there so much when the share price fails to do what people want it to do. It seems to be a reaction to thinking that " the share price should be double what it is" therefore it MUST be "capping" rather than the market simply not agreeing with the investors expectations.

I always suspect that it is simply a lot of LONGS with big profits simply leaving the stage and feeding the sell side as they exit. I take it is it your point that the sells never or rarely get hit therefore they must be artificial?
