if the rumours were true about huayou offer a CR at 10c
this might be the only reason why avz didn't want huayou to sold fund the CR.

could have taken 150m shares in the CR at 10c.
ontop of their existing. then exercised the options and hold another 186m.

they'd have almost 30% by my musings and all the while no offtake no capex and the s/p at 10-15c

AVZ has forced huayou to play ball to get the s/p above 10c by buying on market and exercise the options. if not forget them and it was a complete missed opportunity. $0

all speculation really until April comes.
but this is one of the only strategic decisions I can see behind the SPP if the rug was pulled out from under.
