If instead the FeO is inherently within the ore containing material it means that there’s still 0.9% FeO to handle (on current MET anyway). If it’s present throughout both “types” of material, well I assume that 0.9% is also at average 0.9% throughout. So it’s likely about the mineralogy of the deposit ... is the FeO (as one example of impurities) in the waste material, in the Li holding material, or in both and when MET tested to 0.9% was it a mixture of the “strip/waste” material tested along with the ore “slab” material or just material from the ore containing “slab” areas. No wonder the average punter has trouble understanding this sheet...

Strip ratios are time and money. Overburden (or the non-ore units) is scraped/dug up and trucked to an out of the way location and just dumped until you scrape away to the good stuff. The non-economic units (i.e. non lithium/tin bearing minerals/sediments) shouldn't even enter the "spod process". Good strip ratios just mean you don't waste time and money doing that.
