Agree it is about to change as they are all looking to reduce costs and shipping large quantities of lithium concentrate is not cost effective. These plants and plans are coming/changing but at this very minute the status quo remains as is. Hence why the market is looking directly at China right now. Prices are still falling and should base sometime in the next 6 months IMO. Anyway time will tell.
When Tianqi start producing hydroxide on Australian shores and reduce their cost base dramatically what happens to those players who cannot do likewise? Interesting huh!
