At the risk of upsetting so many longs here I will post this up anyhow. It appears Talison which is Chinese owned supplying to Chinese converters has this to say.

If anyone has an idea of what the converters and battery makers demands will be it will be these guys. They supply a large number of customers and have extensive knowledge of the industry. On top of which they are current producers of the highest grades and quantities of HR, have just expanded their operations and have more production available to them. If they really thought there was huge demand coming online in 2021 or there about then surely they would be ramping up to control the market? They have shelved their expansion plans!
Let's not forget Chinese demand has changed and they have been the driving force behind lithium demand. The city of Shenzhen converted to all EV buses and taxi's in a very short space in time helping create the lithium boom. At that time there were incentives provided by the government to do this. Since then reduced subsidies have forced buyers to pay more for an electrical car and has affected sales. Trumps trade war with China has effected consumer and business confidence and the Chinese economy is definitely slowing.

Can anyone say how much is stockpiled right now? No...
Anyhow in the interests of a balanced view point I have posted this on here for those that wish to digest how it effects AVZ and others.
