Meet Mr Papy Ilunga Kyoni………. AVZ’s Senior Exploration Geologist.



Papy was educated at the University of Lubumbashi Geology Department and qualified with a Batchelor of Science in 2004.

Papy has worked with Nigel previously in other companies for over 11 years……. including three years with AVZ Mineral’s local operating company, Dathcom Mining SA, which manages the Manono Lithium and Tin Project on behalf of the joint venture shareholders.

Papy was the first company geologist to be established on the site at Manono when the due diligence programme was commissioned in late 2016.

He specialises in geological resource delineation and JORC compliance studies.
