The CGT clock is specific to each individual parcel of shares you purchase.
The shares in NOV last year will tick over in NOV this year.
The shares you buy today will tick over this time next year.
If you hold 12months +1 day from your purchase date on each individual parcel of shares you will catch the CGT discount on that parcel
