History tends to repeat itself but with different players and resources.
War in Africa fought by U.S/Europe v. China over lithium is very likely, but hopefully it will just be like a Cold War scenario rather than a real war which will be more realistic. During my research, I read AVZ already had a taste of this in the AFR last month, fortunately all is good now.
