Here's some more research - or as you call it "rubbish".
I do enjoy research. Especially on security issues as it's what I did for about a decade.
Evidence forces within US Gov pushing for change in DRC below.
Interesting para at the bottom of page 1 about increasing "transparency in the area of revenue and contracts" in the mining sector.
Long term that's obviously a positive for DRC and AVZ. Short term? Well we saw on the weekend the large rallies held by returning opposition leader after visiting the US. He immediately said he plans on calling supporters to storm the Presidential Palace.
IMO they (The US) want existing rulers out. What's your take on the letter below?
Who are the locals with the stake in Manono? Is it 10%, or did they sell out - I wasn't keeping track tbh. Does anyone know who they are/were aligned with? I wonder how it all plays out with the former holders of the exploitation licence if the current regime (as proxies of the former apparantly) are moved on? Big money at stake in the DRC through raw materials as you know.
You're welcome btw. Though I'm sure you'd come across this and above in your own research.
I'll be tempted to buy in after all this is said and done, and a railway is announced to Manono. Interesting times ITMT though, eh?
