I watched the battery day announcements and the big takeaway question for me was whether musk is dyeing his hair .

I was quite honestly underwhelmed . 200 mph does nt seem like a great advantage . Three years is a big wait and hardly “unbelievable”. I think he has handed back some initiative to competitors by promoting a USA only materials supply initiative . It might play to the USA market but the other players are competitive . I would have downplayed this part of the strategy (ie USA focussed ) and promoted the tech , the non-ev aspects , a sense of global collaboration for the benefit of the environment ... too rah rah USA for me . Let’s see.
