its not necessarily wrong but it is of little value ( IMO) given the time lag with borrowing stock to short and t2 - T4 reporting you simply cant find out the next day after a big volume trading day what the true level of shorting was you need to wait for the ASIC data to come out - there was 6m short as at the 1st of May - 77m shares traded on the 2 May today we will find out how many that 6m has increased by
